GMAT Syllabus


How to Apply/register for GMAT?

Obtain the "GMAT Information Bulletin" available free at Schedule Form.  There are three ways to register:

Registering by Online:
To schedule a test appointment online you have to complete the required details online on the official GMAT registration website. If you choose to schedule a test appointment online, you must sign up as a registered user of the mba.com  Web site if you have not already done so. Be sure to enter your name and birthdates exactly as they appear on the identification you will present at the test center.

Presenting Proper Identification
The following are the only acceptable forms of ID that you may use at the test center:

  • Passport*
  • Government-issued driver’s license
  • Government-issued national/state/province identity card (including European ID card)
  • Military ID card

*If you are testing in Bangladesh, China (including Hong Kong), Pakistan, India, or Singapore, you must present your passport as your identification.

Note: No other forms of identification will be accepted at the test center. Unacceptable forms of ID include expired passports or driver’s licenses, social security cards, draft classification cards, credit cards, employee or student IDs, letters from your university or college, IDs with physical descriptions in place of photos, or any other kind of ID that does not meet the requirements described above. 

Please note that test fee payments for online test appointments can only be made by credit card. So, you need to have a VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or JCB® card to register online for the GMAT.

Registering by Fax:
If registering by fax, you must send your fax at least SEVEN DAYS prior to your first choice of a test day. You download the International Test Scheduling form from the official GMAT site. To schedule your appointment by mail or fax, first complete the Appointment Schedule Form.

If submitting the form by fax, you must pay by credit card. Visa, MasterCard, JCB®, and American Express are accepted. Please use the fax number for GMAT® Customer Service in your region.

Telephone lines are open Monday through Friday in each region, except on local national holidays.

Registering by Phone:
To schedule your test appointment by phone, please use the telephone numbers based on your location as mention above.
You will be asked for:
- Personal details (Name, date of birth, address etc).
- Credit Card information
- Choice of dates for the test
- Your test date and appointment will be confirmed during the call.
Registering by Mail/Courier:
If you are mailing the form, please include a check, or a money order, or credit card information with your form. Requests received without payment will be returned. Mail your completed form to:
